Karsten Thormaehlen is a photographer, creative director and video artist based in Wiesbaden, Germany. He works for national and international clients, advertising agencies and magazines. Thormaehlen's freelance portrait projects include »Jahrhundertmensch« (2008), »Happy at 100« (Kehrer Art Books, 2011), »Aging Gracefully« (Chronicle, 2017), »Silver Heroes« (Kehrer Art Books, 2009) and »Young At Heart« (Steidl, 2022).
